#16 - Feb. 17th, 2024

Well. Pain Management wasn’t as great as we wanted it to be last night. It was very rough. 

We will be staying another night at least. I was very much hoping to go home today but if we went home today, I’m sure we would just end up on the ER this evening. So that’s ok. All in all still making progress, got the drain tubes out of my neck today. All I still have attached to me in the NG feeding tube which will be coming home with me and a couple IV ports. Which will come out when I get going home whenever that is.  

Throat is still in a lot of pain. But we just need to stay on top of the pain while it’s healing. 

I was blessed by having a bunch of people sign into a zoom meeting for words of encouragement and prayers this morning. It meant the world to me to see all the love shared with Megan and I. 

I will still argue that I am blessed beyond what I deserve.
