Hi all,

Yesterday was a lot of appts. lol.

Physical therapy, dentist again, Speech therapy.

Got some more insight to what to be expecting while having radiation. Also got a pile of neck exercises that I need to start doing ASAP.

Today has been good, been able to work a few hours, but I feel like I’m running on fumes.

I guess that might be the new normal for a while.

Speaking about Guardian Angels yesterday made me realize I have to tell you this story.

Right before life got flipped with the cancer diagnosis, I had planned on going in to have a procedure on a varicose vein in my leg. (Ya,ya, I know. I’m old. Well aware,… stay focused 😂)

Part of this was that I needed to buy ridiculously expensive compression stockings for after the procedure. I figured I might as well get them so I stopped at a place that sells medical supplies. I met this wonderful lady. We will just call her J.

I ended up telling her that I had a lump and had a bunch of tests coming up so I wasn’t sure if I was even going to have that procedure. She immediately told me about her struggles with cancer that she was currently going through. She sure made me feel more at ease. She asked me if she could pray with me, if she could pray for me, and if she could reach out to me to check up on me. I said sure.

3 weeks or so later, sure enough she called me checking up on me.

After the surgery and all the hospital stays she had tried to call. When I got home I was going through my mail and her was a letter, a little note from J.

Just letting me know she was still thinking and praying for me.

A person I barely knew, taking an actual effort to let me know I was still in her prayers. It blew my mind.

Yesterday, between appts. I finally stopped done to her work place. Her door was closed.

I was trying to explain the awkward situation. Well, no I don’t have an appt. Well I barely know her but she’s been praying for me. I kinda got a blank stare.

lol.

Then, J door opened and she was just finishing up with her client. She saw me, and immediately guided me into her office. The first thing she said was “I am still praying for you two times a day”.

I got to fill her in on everything that had been going on.”

She filled me in on her cancer journey as well.

I know that there are angels that walk among us.

I’ve known that for years. But at this moment in my life, it is sure wonderful to be reminded of those angels and to meet one at the exact right time.

I gave her the link to this, so I hope she sees this.

Thank you for being an angel on earth, J.

It means more than you know. ❤️

Tune in again tomorrow.

Who knows what is in store!!?

lol

Dave.
