Home is where the dog hair is…..

Waking up and realizing that I wasn’t in a hospital bed put my soul at peace. It feels like forever ago.

I made it down the stairs to be greeted by Hazel and her wiggly butt. Seconds later I heard the thump of Hazard jumping off the bed upstairs. He came downstairs and after a couple big stretches he was ready to go outside.

It may seem simple, boring and mundane, but the simple act of letting the dogs outside felt satisfying.

There is still a bit of pain in my lungs but I’m feeling good. I’m just looking forward to some normal, continued healing and getting ready for radiation.

I will find out more next week about when that chapter starts.

I will continue to push forward.

I appreciate your support.

Love you all.

Dave
