Stopping in for a quick check up.
Today was the best day so far.
They still have me on blood thinners and probably will be for long term. I’m still getting IV antibiotics for the pneumonia in my lungs.
Pain is bearable. It’s really just one spot in my left lung that has a moderate sized blood clot. Just waiting for them to start breaking down naturally. They can’t use any aggressive means like clot buster drugs because of just having the surgery on my neck. It is too dangerous for the other incisions to bleed. I’m getting stronger, on less pain meds. Eating much better as well.
All I can really do now is get up and move. On walks, up is the chair. Suck on my little “raise the ball” game. And heal.
I truly can’t explain how amazing my wife is.
She has been a trooper
She has been here to boost my spirits
She has been here love me when I needed it the most
She has been my nurse, my gopher and my helper
She has been here to make me laugh when I needed it
She has been there to wipe my tears when I needed that too.
I could continue for hours on the things that Megan has done for me.
The easiest way to describe it is that
She Has Been My Everything!!!
I have NO idea how it could had been possible to make it through all this without her.
So please, the next time you see her, please thank her for being an amazing human being.
Love you all
Dave
